AICE Media Studies

Well, here it is, the final product. My group and I have had an enormous amount of fun during this process and I personally loved working with this group. It was quite stressful at times but we did it. I know you’ve guys been waiting to see it, so here it is. Enjoy, because I know I did!

Hi. It’s me, Maiyah. The end is near. My group and I are adding the finish touches to the film. It’s been a long and stressful journey so i’m glad it’s about to be over. Overall, we worked very hard on this project. I worked very hard on this project. During the last stage of editing the film, we all contributed as i said in previous blogs. As it turns out, Aniya did the bulk of the editing. I did help edit the part that i told you guys i would because i pictured it a certain way. It didn’t come out exactly as i pictured it but i’m happy with the result.  I never really spoke on how the ending of filming went and i believe it’s cause i couldn’t remember. Seeing the film come tighter helped me remember. The scenes that included Roy, Ryeyauni, and I were quite funny. Not in the actual film because there is where it’s supposed to be serious. But there were a lot of bloopers filmed and i wish we could add them to the film so i can show you guys. I don’t think we are supposed  to so the gro

 Hi, it’s me, Maiyah. Well, we’ve finished filming and now we’re unto editing. The group decided to edit using Imovie. I have used it before and other members of the group have used it too.  I haven’t edited a part yet but i have giving my input on how it should be edited. One of my suggestions was to add non-diegetic music to a certain part of the film instead of using diegetic sound. I’ve suggested other things. The whole group had. I can’t quite remembers who’s doing the bulk of the editing but i believe it’s Ryeyauni. Although she’s doing most of it, we all will contribute. Roy will contribute by offering advice on which music we should use and by offering some music of his own. Aniya will contribute by offering suggestions and helping with the editing. I will contribute by doing the same thing. I will see to it that I edit one specific part because I have envisioned how i want it so i believe it’ll be best if i edit it myself. I’m excited to see how the finishing product looks. I

Hey, it’s me, Maiyah. Things have progressed since the last blog. We are now at the end of our film. I can’t recall how much more we have left to film but i know it’s not much. Filming the rest of the film has been fun. During one filming session, Ryeyauni was recoding a scene when she tripped and fell. It was quite funny. It gave all of us a good laugh. Luckily, she tripped at the end of the recording so what we needed to use for the film was okay. Another fun memory that i can remember from a filming session was when we had bloopers back to back. I’m not sure if we will add them in the film due to timing, but if we can i’ll see to it that they are put in I can’t wait until i see the finish product of the film. I know i’ve said this before, but i hope it comes out like i imagined it too. It took a lot of stressing and communicating to get to where we are in the film. I would hate for it all to go to waste. I have nothing else to say really so i’ll just let you guys in on a secret. The

 Hi. It’s me again, Maiyah. I’m here with another update and so far much hasn’t change since the last blog. This weekend i was pretty busy so i wasn’t able to film with the group. This was also easter weekend and none of the group filmed Sunday. I’m actually not sure if they filmed at all being that i was pretty busy. You’re probably wondering how was i busy so let me explain, Friday was no school so i slept for majority of the day. That night I went to my friend house and stayed the night. Saturday morning we had to wake up quite early in order to attend her brothers track meet. After the track meet we then went to Crafty Crabs. We were out from 6am to 6pm. We slept the rest of the night and when Sunday came we laid down until i got picked up by my mother. I then came home and participated in an easter egg hunt and spent time with my family. With all that being said, I hope you understand why i didn’t film and why Im not aware of if the group did either. Although i’m not sure, I will

 Hi. It’s me, Maiyah again, Well my group have made progress since  the last time we spoke. We have the first 10-15 seconds of the film down. We had to shoot certain parts multiple times. When i say multiple times, i mean multiple times. It became tiring at a point but we got throigh it. At least i know i was tired. We also plan to film more tomorrow. Tomorrow is Friday and we have no school so we all thought it would be a good idea. Hopefully we all wake up in order to film. If we don’t, it’s fine. We will just film saturday. We finally assigned the group filming and editing days. We will film April 1st-10th. We will edit April 11th-15th. For filming, we won’t film every day, but we will at least try to film every other day. For editing, we will edit every day until it’s done. We kay also edit as we go then sieve the editing dates correcting our mistakes surging the film. I hope the schedule works out and we stuck to it. Now that we spoke on the dates, we should be done white soon. I
