Production blog; Final touches

Hi. It’s me, Maiyah. The end is near. My group and I are adding the finish touches to the film. It’s been a long and stressful journey so i’m glad it’s about to be over. Overall, we worked very hard on this project. I worked very hard on this project. During the last stage of editing the film, we all contributed as i said in previous blogs. As it turns out, Aniya did the bulk of the editing. I did help edit the part that i told you guys i would because i pictured it a certain way. It didn’t come out exactly as i pictured it but i’m happy with the result.  I never really spoke on how the ending of filming went and i believe it’s cause i couldn’t remember. Seeing the film come tighter helped me remember. The scenes that included Roy, Ryeyauni, and I were quite funny. Not in the actual film because there is where it’s supposed to be serious. But there were a lot of bloopers filmed and i wish we could add them to the film so i can show you guys. I don’t think we are supposed  to so the group and I aren’t going to take any chances but if there’s any way we can show you guys, we will. Filming the together scenes would have to be my overall favorite because they were the most fun. I’ll insert a picture of when we were all together to show you guys. Editing was quite tricky at first because of time issues but we figured it out. As i said earlier, i’m so excited to show you guys the final product. I hope you like it! Cant wait, literally. Production Blog: Beginning of editing

 Hi, it’s me, Maiyah. Well, we’ve finished filming and now we’re unto editing. The group decided to edit using Imovie. I have used it before and other members of the group have used it too.  I haven’t edited a part yet but i have giving my input on how it should be edited. One of my suggestions was to add non-diegetic music to a certain part of the film instead of using diegetic sound. I’ve suggested other things. The whole group had. I can’t quite remembers who’s doing the bulk of the editing but i believe it’s Ryeyauni. Although she’s doing most of it, we all will contribute. Roy will contribute by offering advice on which music we should use and by offering some music of his own. Aniya will contribute by offering suggestions and helping with the editing. I will contribute by doing the same thing. I will see to it that I edit one specific part because I have envisioned how i want it so i believe it’ll be best if i edit it myself. This was my first film project ever. Due to it being my first I was very excited. I ran into many problems that I never would have thought occurred. For example, uploading this video. As I type this I have no idea on how to upload it because everything I am trying is not working. Hopefully when you are reading this, it will be visible😂. On a serious note, I feel as if this project has taught me a lot when it comes to being both the director and the cast. It has also taught me a lot about editing and filming. Before I started this project I had little to no knowledge on filming my own commercial. Moving forward, I feel that the next filming project I do will be even better. Although this project could have been done better, I believe that I did a nice job for it to be my first time. During the whole process many things had to be changed. Planning for final task: Title design

Planning Blog Font: Title font for our group will be bolded in impact font while the other titles are heltivica font  Contrast: All the titles will be white with a back outline/ our movie titles will be a large focused font size that is clear and readable to the audience, while the other title credits will be medium sized, around the font size of 48. Spacing: The default spacing is the spacing that will be used to display all of our titles, and enhance  Working Title: Our title for our movie will be "Too Much" The first scene of the movie when the main character is being recognized inside of their room waking up to get ready for online school is when the Title will emerge across the screen from a diagonal point crossing the screen and moving side ways at a steady paste Slowly after that you will see the other titles come in and out of the screen distinctly and appear and disappear as the intro continues.
