Planning for my Vaseline commercial

Props Since I decided to a Vaseline commercial, my main prop will be a Vaseline product. The cocoa butter healing jelly to be specific. Other props will include a sink and a stuffed animal.   Costumes In my commercial, there would be one person on camera and one person off. The person would be wearing a total of two costumes through out the commercial. The first costume would be a set of pajamas with a bonnet on their head and some cozy socks. Their second costume would be a nice classy outfit such as a dress. Schedule On 10/20/20, I started to research conventions and codes of a Vaseline commercial.                                  On 10/22/20, I established the the props, costumes, schedule, location list, and backup plan.                    On 10/26/20, I will start my storyboard for the commercial.            ...

Research blog: Commercial Conventions

Due to Vaseline being characterized as a beauty product, the commercials sometimes use pathos as a promoting style. In some commercials, they have people speak about their experience with Vaseline and they typically speaks about how it boosted their confidence when it came to certain things. At the end of almost every commercial, they show the Vaseline product by its self. A the product is being showed, there is a voice...
