Genre research: action and comedy

 

There are many genres other than horror. Theres other great genres such as thriller, romance, historical and action. A lot of people watch many different genres in movies and find them very entertaining. Two other major and important genres used in films are action and comedy. Many movies are filmed in these two genres such as for action, all of the Avengers super hero movies are apart of this genres and such as single movies such as White House Down. As for comedy movies, there are many famous comedy movies out there that we have seen such as The war With Grandpa and the movie TED.            In an action based film or movie. You see a lot of things such as items blowing up, things crashing into each other and even events in the film that the average human couldn't do such as block off a lighting bolt from hitting the ground. The lighting in these types of films are usually bright so that the audience can see whats really going on. Different bright objects used in the film can be apart of how the lighting is set up in the movie also. For example, lava could be used in an action movie, this could be used for a type of lighting or if someone is being set on fire, these could be substitutes for the lighting in the film. The sounds in an action based movie would usually be loud noises. Noises such as loud crashes, large items falling or even screaming people from the crowd. Action films are really one of the best and most entertaining types of genre in film production.           The other major genre is comedy. Everyone enjoys a comedy movie and it comes in handy when you want a good laugh. In a comedy film, there aren't many jaw dropping clips, most of the movie brings laughs for the audience. This genre can have any type of lighting to it. but usually, in a comedy film, you mostly see a bright lighting so the audience is usually uplifted in a way and their attention span to the movie grows. In this genre, you should expect events in the movie that makes you laugh so there really isn't certain sounds that you hear in a comedy film. If you're ever feeling down, the best thing for you is to visit a movie theater, grab a bag of popcorn and go and enjoy a comedy movie!
