Production blog: Revision + Progress

Hi. Today I decided to check on and make sure all my published blogs were done right. I started from the first blog and worked my way up. As I did that I ran into typical problems such as a misspelled words or I’s that I forgot to capitalize. Once I got to the storyboard blog, I realized I needed more. Not more sentences but more pages. Originally I had five pages of the storyboard uploaded. I decided to add two more pages of storyboard. My group as a whole did 7 originally I just decided to upload 5. I’m not sure why I did that but I did. I’m also not sure why I decided to add the other two pages. I guess something in me knew I should show all the work that my group and I worked so hard on. Along with the revision of my storyboard, my group and I decided what music we will use for the film. In our group, we have an artist. Roy Castro. We decided to use his music in our film not only because he’s in our group, but because his music is good. I hope you enjoy it when listening. I sure did. Now about filming, My group and I still haven’t decided to film yet. The reason for this is still the same as I explained in the other blog. When we film, we want to be focused and give it our all. We feel like we can't do that just yet. Not while we are all stressed. Although we haven’t started yet, we do plan to start soon. Very soon. And when we do, it'll be quite good. Production Blog: Beginning of editing

 Hi, it’s me, Maiyah. Well, we’ve finished filming and now we’re unto editing. The group decided to edit using Imovie. I have used it before and other members of the group have used it too.  I haven’t edited a part yet but i have giving my input on how it should be edited. One of my suggestions was to add non-diegetic music to a certain part of the film instead of using diegetic sound. I’ve suggested other things. The whole group had. I can’t quite remembers who’s doing the bulk of the editing but i believe it’s Ryeyauni. Although she’s doing most of it, we all will contribute. Roy will contribute by offering advice on which music we should use and by offering some music of his own. Aniya will contribute by offering suggestions and helping with the editing. I will contribute by doing the same thing. I will see to it that I edit one specific part because I have envisioned how i want it so i believe it’ll be best if i edit it myself. This was my first film project ever. Due to it being my first I was very excited. I ran into many problems that I never would have thought occurred. For example, uploading this video. As I type this I have no idea on how to upload it because everything I am trying is not working. Hopefully when you are reading this, it will be visible😂. On a serious note, I feel as if this project has taught me a lot when it comes to being both the director and the cast. It has also taught me a lot about editing and filming. Before I started this project I had little to no knowledge on filming my own commercial. Moving forward, I feel that the next filming project I do will be even better. Although this project could have been done better, I believe that I did a nice job for it to be my first time. During the whole process many things had to be changed. Planning for final task: Title design

Planning Blog Font: Title font for our group will be bolded in impact font while the other titles are heltivica font  Contrast: All the titles will be white with a back outline/ our movie titles will be a large focused font size that is clear and readable to the audience, while the other title credits will be medium sized, around the font size of 48. Spacing: The default spacing is the spacing that will be used to display all of our titles, and enhance  Working Title: Our title for our movie will be "Too Much" The first scene of the movie when the main character is being recognized inside of their room waking up to get ready for online school is when the Title will emerge across the screen from a diagonal point crossing the screen and moving side ways at a steady paste Slowly after that you will see the other titles come in and out of the screen distinctly and appear and disappear as the intro continues.
