Hey guys. I know it’s been a minute since I gave an update and I am here to explain why and what happened during that time. Well, to begin, spring break is what happened. As I mentioned in the blog before, spring break was near and I was excited for it. It came and I had a bunch of fun. As for my personal experience during spring break, it was filled with joy. I met up with some friends i haven’t seen in a while. I also went to Dave N Busters and had a picnic with my friends. Along with me having fun, The group and I begun to film. I can’t recall which day it was that we met up to begin filming but we did. It was quite fun. We met up at the park and filmed the opening scene. When we all got together it wasn’t weird being that we all have been around each other previously. Hey. Here I am again. Since the last blog much hasn’t changed. I know what you’re thinking and I, to an extent, agree. Spring break has started and I am super glad. School has been quite stressful so I’m excited to get away from it for a while. As far as filming goes, my group and I haven’t started yet. I do see one of my group members during the break so maybe some filming will get done. At least it should. I’m not sure why me and my group haven’t started yet but i’m not complaining. At least right now i’m not. If no one else does, I personally will make sure we get started soon. We should because time is wining down. We have to set up dates so that we can all get together and begin. I can’t remember if we already did but at this moment my mind is telling me we haven’t. Hi. It’s me again, Maiyah. You’re probably wondering where we are with filming now. Turns out, we’re in the same place. I thought by now we would have started but time has proven me wrong. In the last couple of blogs I had a hope of us starting soon but school can be quite stressful. Grades are close to closing and my group and I are trying to catch up the best we can. Especially me. We each are taking at least 2 AICE classes and oh boy. We all are quite slammed. Although we are slammed, we do know this course is important and plan to keep it on our to-do list. I don’t know when we will start but it should be soon. I hope it’s soon. Though we didn’t start filming yet, we have discussed first aid. Being that covid-19 is still around we do plan on taking safety precautions when we do start filming. We will wear masks when we’re bit filming and try to stay six feet apart. Hi. Me again. These last couple of days has been steady. We still haven’t begun filming. I’m not totally mad that we haven’t begun because we still have time. Hopefully we start soon, maybe next blog. Lately we haven’t been discussing the film lately because we all have been pretty busy. Though we discussed little, we did discuss the roles and who will play in the film. One will solely be a recorder while the other 3 may play a main part. Since the film is a short film, you may see a person once or twice. Maybe more depending on what role they are playing. I am quite excited to see how the film comes out. Filming and Editing are always the most fun parts. I particularly think editing is superior over filming so i’m most excited for that portion. Besides that, me and one of my partners had sort of an hiccup with one of our blogs. This caused for us to reevaluate our blogs and revise them. Hi. Today I decided to check on and make sure all my published blogs were done right. I started from the first blog and worked my way up. As I did that I ran into typical problems such as a misspelled words or I’s that I forgot to capitalize. Once I got to the storyboard blog, I realized I needed more. Not more sentences but more pages. Originally I had five pages of the storyboard uploaded. I decided to add two more pages of storyboard. My group as a whole did 7 originally I just decided to upload 5. I’m not sure why I did that but I did. I’m also not sure why I decided to add the other two pages. I guess something in me knew I should show all the work that my group and I worked so hard on. Along with the revision of my storyboard, my group and I decided what music we will use for the film. Filming. Filming is something my group and I haven't quite gotten around to. Reason for that is because the group as a whole has become very stressed with school. Although we haven't gotten around to it yet, we plan to soon. Personally, I want to get to it as soon as possible, I think. But, at the same time I am glad we are waiting. The reason that I am partially glad that we are waiting is because it gives us time to ensure that our movie makes sense to the audience. At least that's how I feel for now. My group still has a couple of things to do before filming such as who will play what role and how will we film. So far, we have the main character casted. Though we have the main character casted, that can change anytime. We also have a lot more casting to do. My group is planning to assign shooting days and editing days. We are still waiting to do that also. The reason we are waiting to do that is because we have to make sure we are free and able to abide by the schedule. ...

Planning Blog Font: Title font for our group will be bolded in impact font while the other titles are heltivica font  Contrast: All the titles will be white with a back outline/ our movie titles will be a large focused font size that is clear and readable to the audience, while the other title credits will be medium sized, around the font size of 48. Spacing: The default spacing is the spacing that will be used to display all of our titles, and enhance  Working Title: Our title for our movie will be "Too Much" The first scene of the movie when the main character is being recognized inside of their room waking up to get ready for online school is when the Title will emerge across the screen from a diagonal point crossing the screen and moving side ways at a steady paste Slowly after that you will see the other titles come in and out of the screen distinctly and appear and disappear as the intro continues. This particular story board was hard. We had to do 70 boxes and make sure each of them was well put together. We all contributed to the story board and had quite fun doing it  Although we all contributed, only one person did the drawing. Hope you enjoy it! 

Scripts. Planning for scripts is hard, even when working with a group. My group and I have spent hours having group conversations and brainstorming. There were many times when we all were stuck and couldn't figure out what to script next or the different moves a character should make. Although we struggled, we did it. This new project requires a lot. This time, the main goal of this final task is to make a movie film. The movie film will be about a suicide that happened because of the stress of online school. Since online school has impacted kids across the United States, my group and I thought it would be a great idea to make a film about something that's going on in today's society.  The schedule that we set up for our project is very time manageable for everyone in our group. Some of the participants in our film has jobs and other things to do so we made a schedule that will be able to fit everybody.  Schedule: 2/28/21 - 3/8/21: We will start brainstorming ideas about where the setting is, cast and what the film is truly going to be about. We will make a schedule of who will be available and what times. We will choose extras of who we want to be in our video and make sure that their availability matches ours.
